Writing Prompt #1: A teenage girl walks into her home and finds traces of blood on the floor. Her first instinct is to run out the door. If there was a killer in the house, she wasn't safe. On the other hand, whoever the killer attack may still be alive. Write a 750 short story on the teenager's decision and thought process.
Writing Prompt #2: A newly wed woman walks into a photo shop to develop pictures of her honeymoon. On the wall is a picture of her husband and another woman. He's wearing a shirt she bought him several months before. She grabs the picture and then storms out the store. Write a 500 short story on what happened next.
Writing Prompt #3: A YouTube video of a girl screaming for help went viral. The YouTube community, reporters, and the police wonder whether the video is a hoax. YouTube took the video down, but not before people downloaded the video. Write a short story on this incident.
Writing Prompt #4: An executive never makes a call himself. He always has his assistant ring his contacts. His friends got tired of hearing, "Hold on for Robert Crawford" that they decided never to take his call. They'd all reply, "Now is not a good time. Please have him call back." Crawford was baffled by the responses. Write a 750 short story on what happened next.
